Città Sant'Angelo

Parco Nazionale del Gran Sasso e Monti della Laga

The Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park, which became operational in 1996, was established in 1991, with the issue of the PDF Framework Law on protected areas (Law no. 6 December 1991, no. 394), to preserve and enhance the natural and historical-cultural resources present in its vast and complex territory.
